While strolling around an unassuming area of Madison Ave in Manhattan with the ever lovely Legs Diamante on a hot summer evening I heard the sound of cool jazz rising from the downstairs of an elegant old building. Upon walking down a couple of steps we found a most unique experience awaiting for us inside a venue named the Salon Millesime in the Carlton. Blog Date 6/2011
When walking up Park Avenue South in Manhattan at about midnight, I noticed a long line of well-dressed people waiting to go into the entrance to the Gansevoort Roof Top. This was quite interesting to me as this sleepy street, typically suited for residential and business, was now transformed to a social happening destination. In speaking to those on line, I was told that the Rooftop was 3 floors with a sun deck and pool (the pool reserved for guests of the hotel, shucks). Blog Date 7/2011.
